Souvenirs and gifts have always been a popular way for the public to support the RNLI. There are now have over 120 shops around the UK and Ireland – all of which are operated by volunteers. One of these is next to the lifeboat station, Kingsway in Selsey and has a compliment of shop helpers who help make sure customers are served in a friendly and efficient way under the leadership of their chairman Ros Bonham.

Selsey’s Lifeboat Association has a 35 strong team of volunteers who, as well as keeping the souvenir shop running, go to many events around the area throughout the year selling the RNLI souvenirs.

Without the efforts of committed teams like this, and all the other people who do all sorts of things to raise money to support the RNLI, we could not carry out our lifesaving role.

Hours of Opening - 12th March to 31st October 2011, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. except Mondays 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Hours of Opening - 1st November 2011 to March 2012, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday only.
